Blisters
Blisters are most commonly caused by friction on the skin. They consist of puss-filled bubbles on the skin. This is a very common skin irritation. Click here for more on blisters.

  • Active Chemical Ingredients: prostaglandin E(2)
  • Uses: Healing agent, anti inflammatory
  • Preparation: Sap rubbed onto affected area

  • Family: Lauraceae
  • Habitat: Eastern Deciduous Forest
  • Active Chemical Ingredients: Safrole
  • Uses: Antiseptic, Astringent
  • Preparation: Tea from the bark
